Carl Pepper, M.A.
I am a pianist and violinist who relatively recently decided to emigrate from the south of the UK to Congleton, Cheshire. I studied piano and contemporary composition in Cambridge and, following my graduation, began teaching piano to a variety of students of different ages and abilities. I offer tuition in my home and on location around South Cheshire and North Staffordshire.
I have always loved playing the piano, and music is something that has played a major part in my life since I started learning at the age of six. I am passionate about what I teach, and I love to see my students' enthusiasm and satisfaction grow as they learn. My own children have started to learn music too (without parental pressure!), and I hope that they will also continue to play and enjoy the lifelong gift that I have been able to provide them. I formed Cheshire Piano to move away from the more traditional (some may say old-fashioned!) way of teaching music to bring it more up to date, making it attractive to younger students through a holistic approach and the employment of modern technology to continually support students' learning. If you have any further questions about my background or wish to enquire about lessons, please call me on 07977 219926 or via my contact page. |
