Carl Pepper, M.A.
I am a pianist and violinist who relatively recently decided to emigrate from the south of the UK to Congleton, Cheshire. I studied piano and contemporary composition in Cambridge and, following my graduation, began teaching piano to a variety of students of different ages and abilities. I offer tuition in my home and on location around South Cheshire and North Staffordshire.
I have always loved playing the piano, and music is something that has played a major part in my life since I started learning at the age of six. I am passionate about what I teach, and I love to see my students' enthusiasm and satisfaction grow as they learn. My own children have started to learn music too (without parental pressure!), and I hope that they will also continue to play and enjoy the lifelong gift that I have been able to provide them.
I formed Cheshire Piano to move away from the more traditional (some may say old-fashioned!) way of teaching music to bring it more up to date, making it attractive to younger students through a holistic approach and the employment of modern technology to continually support students' learning.
